Textiles Committee is a statutory organization under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, established in the year 1963. The Committee has set up 19 laboratories throughout India and out of which 14 laboratories accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025 by National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India.
2. Laboratory of Textiles Committee at Mumbai is regularly organizing Inter Laboratory Proficiency Testing (ILPT) Schemes among the Textile testing laboratories in accordance with the requirements stipulated in ISO/IEC 17043. Laboratories from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and Hong Kong participate in these schemes.
3.Textiles Committee has designed to conduct Two Inter Laboratory Testing Schemes (one in Mechanical and the other in chemical testing).

4. Criteria for participation
- Any laboratory, which is already accredited, by an accrediting agencyor
- Any laboratory preparing for accreditationor
- Any laboratory catering to the testing requirements – internal and external customers
5. For the test parameters and other details please refer the Protocol of the respective scheme.
6.Laboratories are requested to download the registration form from the website of Textiles Committee:www.textilescommittee.nic.in.Alternatively, they may use the registration form sent to your email address.

Participantfees can be paid by:
(a)Demand Draft drawn in favour of “TEXTILES COMMITTEE LAB A/C” payable at Mumbai.
(b)NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer)/ RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) directly in the Textiles Committee’s Account. Please indicate the Unique Transaction ID/ Reference no. of the NEFT/RTGS payment in the registration form sent back to us.

- Participants willing to participate in both the schemes can make a single payment for the total value.
- Participation fees based on scheme only (not concert with individual participating parameters)
- Participation fees once paid is not refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other purpose/PT scheme.
8.If payment is made by Demand Draft, send the registration form duly signed along with Demand Draft to the following address so as to reach by 23 December ‘2019. No covering letter is necessary.
