The 100% census of textile processing units is a monumental research effort of Textiles Committee in mapping the structure and technology/operational processes of the hitherto unavailable data on the Indian processing sector. The unit level data on the processing sector have been compiled and presented in an exhaustive directory format that will go a long way in meeting the information needs of the Indian textile industry. The directory is devised in a very user-friendly manner by listing all units - state, district, cluster-wise with further details of the processing activities, fabrics processed etc. An immensely useful publication to the entire industry and all other stakeholders. The report consists of 397 pages of texts and tables.
