Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is functioning as the Resource Support Agency (RSA) and knowledge partner for implementation of the Scheme for Capacity Building in Textile Sector – SAMARTH. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following contractual positions through a Walk-In-Interview.

Date and Time of Interview: 27.10.2025, from 11:00 AM onwards

Reporting Time: 10:15 AM

Venue: Textiles Committee, (Government of India, Ministry of Textiles), Apparel House, 5th Floor, Institutional Area, Sector 44, Gurugram – 122003

Note: These positions are purely on a contractual basis, up to 31st March 2026 or till the completion of the Samarth Scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The engagement is coterminous with the SAMARTH Scheme. The Textiles Committee reserves the right to cancel or modify any or all positions without providing any reasons at any stage.

Conditions for Candidates

  1. Each candidate must submit a separate application form for every position applied for.
  2. The candidate should bring the application in the prescribed format accompanied by a self-attested copy of certificates, testimonials, and a recent passport-size photograph at the time of the Walk-In-Interview.
  3. The candidate should bring their original supporting documents (D.O.B., education, experience, valid Government ID, etc.) at the time of the Walk-In-Interview for verification.
  4. If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or the documents are not verified, he/she will not be eligible for further processing and will be treated as rejected.
  5. No allowances or compensations are applicable other than the consolidated pay.
  6. During the period, no earned leave or medical leave is permitted. Paid leave of absence will be allowed at the rate of 1 day for each completed 1.5 months of service or as per rules.
  7. If, at any stage of engagement, it is found that the candidate has submitted any false or fabricated information/documents, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately, and he/she will be liable for action as per law.
  8. The offer is purely temporary and for a short-term period, as mentioned in the advertisement. No right shall be conferred on the selected persons for appointment on a regular basis or continuation beyond one year.
  9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  10. The selected candidates may be required to work on weekends and/or holidays in exigencies of work, without any additional compensation or benefits.
  11. Announcements: All further announcements or details pertaining to this process will only be published on the Textiles Committee website or informed via email from time to time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.
  12. Retired personnel from government departments/agencies, co-operative banks, or similar institutions may also appear for the interview. However, their remuneration will be as per Department of Expenditure Office Memorandum No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 9th December 2020.
